Coriolanus (Finished)

Here is my finished set model for my design class. I wanted to set it in a Dieselpunk alternative reality of Rome.

If I could do it again, I would have painted the pillars a more sand-yellow color to go more with the mural in the back, but I guess it's okay.

I'm most proud of the mural because I hand-painted it and it's based off of a painting depicting ACT 3, Scene 5 where Coriolanus is being appealed to by his mother and wife. If it were to be built, I'd imagine that between the two parts of the broken pediment, there would have been a throne-like chair for Coriolanus to sit upon.
