In 8 weeks we will be homeless. We are trying to raise money for a down payment on a house for my elderly, chronically ill mother who will not have to worry about landlords or moving again.
My mum is 55. She has Sciatica and Diabetic Neuropathy. My sister and I are full-time students with medical conditions of our own and if we were to raise enough money, this means we wouldn’t need to move again or worry about landlords anymore.
Our current landlord has broken our lease because he intends to sell the property and wants us to vacate the premises by July 31st.
We have also found out that due to an improperly installed 5/6 year old dishwasher, mold has been growing in the kitchen for a year and a half without us knowing about it. As a result, our chronic illnesses have become much worse, amounting medical bills both for us and our dog Lola.
So we may need to get out of here faster than expected.
The home we can afford on a monthly basis is within 10 minutes of our current home and we would easily be able to move there by ourselves. Because of limited funds, we have nowhere else to go and will be homeless otherwise.

Watercolor Commissions
Due to popular demand, I am now offering watercolor commissions. Above, is a brief sample of my work.
I will paint any piece in three available sizes: 5x7, 8x10, 9x12.
Pieces will be done with professional watercolors on acid-free archival watercolor paper.
You have the option of purchasing the original artwork and receiving it through the mail. I will also scan and send the artwork to you as a digital file as a backup copy and keepsake.

RIP Little Tuki
I love you sweet Tuki. You were almost as old as me - we got you when I was only 7/8 years old. You had an amazing life for a little cat being born on the street and taken in. I know right now you're playing in a perpetual shower, eating endless shrimp, sleeping in sunshine and being taken care of by Grammy up there. *kisses*

This is our sweet little cat, Tookie. She’s the sweetest girl ever, and recently her activity has declined. She has never been sick before until recently she became severely lethargic and completely lost her appetite. We took her to the vet immediately, and upon examination, they said that she had kidneys and a liver most cats would envy…However, upon further blood work, beautiful Tookie was diagnosed with pancreatitis - inflammation in the pancreas.
She’ll eat shrimp out of my hand and purrs and coos to the full body massages that I give her. She loves sleeping with her Star Wars wookie action figure and the toy mouse in the profile picture Steve Martin. In our efforts to help her recover and be comfortable, we are finding that to purchase her life-saving medicine is going to be more than we can afford.
